Suzette is a Textile Artist and Tutor living on the border of Shropshire and Wales in the UK.

Week 2 in Paris: September 8 - 13, 2026

In Paris we will immerse ourselves in the exquisite and historic textiles of the past and present, shop famous haberdasheries and the flea markets, tour the Musée Jouy de Toile in the city of Versailles and enjoy a delightful dinner cruise on the River Seine.

We will have a workshop with Ruth Hughes of Wild Fiber Embroidery. Ruth is known for her abstract embroidery. She will show us how to create texture and develop contemporary shape. Plus, it will be held at Au Ver A Soie, the makers of exquisite silk threads. Ruth will collaborate with them to add Au Ver A Soie thread to the design - just for us!
