and exploring the locations offerings. Here are the places we will go.
...feel the spirit of Aloha that is found in Hawaii.
Polynesian Cultural Center

Islands of Hawaiʻi
Travel through time and space to experience thousands of years worth of culture from six different island nations, each with its own flavor and appeal. Play ancient games, dance with grace, learn how to fish without a net, and sample poi. Live the spirit of aloha in Hawaiʻi
HĀ: Breath of Life Show
The symbolic story of Mana and his beloved Lani, punctuated by Polynesian dance, music and blazing fireknives, is told in “HĀ: Breath of Life,” our stunning evening show featuring Pacific Islanders, special effects, animation and surround sound.
Bishop's Museum & Iolana Palace

With a legacy spanning over 130 years, the Bishop Museum showcases over 25 million artifacts that narrate the rich history and cultures of the Pacific.
The ʻIolani Palace was the royal residence of the rulers of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi beginning with Kamehameha III under the Kamehameha Dynasty and ending with Queen Liliʻuokalani under the Kalākaua Dynasty. The last queen's crazy quilt, which she made while under house arrest, is found in her living quarters.
Fabric Shopping

In Honolulu we will spend a morning on a "shop hop" visiting four local fabric shops. I was told about these shops by local quilters, so these are the good ones!
