Brimming with French ribbons, yarns, threads, beads, sequins and buttons, haberdasheries are textile paradises. These boutiques will be a joy to visit!
We will browse through shelves, drawers and jars overflowing with colorful and sparkly treasures. Many of the shops we will visit are dedicated to creating the finest quality French threads, ribbons, notions and fabrics, preserving the savoir-faire that made Paris the birthplace of haute couture fashion.
Rebecca will share the fascinating stories of haberdasheries, feather-workers and embroiders, royal customers and the working class women who made their exquisite gowns.
What fun - Ce que c'est drôle!
