Featuring Anne Kelly
Textile Artist, Author and Teacher
Living in England and widely travelled, Anne likes to question and research the landscape, culture and traditions of the places she visits. Those small worlds are made of patches, embroidered and stitched stories.
Whether it’s being inspired by people of the past or vintage objects, exploring other cultures and traditions, or creating multi-layered works rich in meaning and visual interest, she uses this knowledge to create objects like Christmas ornaments. For our workshop, we will make charming and original heart shaped decorations from a folk art inspired kit designed by Anne Kelly.

There will be more workshops. Yippee!

Explore Reims Christmas Market

The Reims Christmas Market in France is one of the best Christmas markets in the country. It's the third largest in France and takes place in the city center of Reims. Highlights include:
-
Chalets: 150 chalets offer gifts, food, wine, glass, and ceramics
-
Ferris wheel: A Ferris wheel on Place d'Erlon
-
Regalia show: A sound and light show on the Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedrals' facade. It is a replica of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
Reims is at the center of champagne production. Champagne ages in the many caves and tunnels under Reims, which form a sort of maze below the city. Carved from chalk, some of these passages date back to Roman times.
